Architect

What is the Architect subscription level?

Schools, and school districts have become key communicators and leaders  in their local community. But are all professional members of a learning community fulfilling their potential?  Skilling up on key areas of practice, pedagogy, leadership and knowledge are the components for quality professional development (PD). Well prepared school staff means that overall school preparedness and school prevention is part of the infrastructure of the school. Furthermore the school staff become key architects in this school infrastructure which strengthens schools resilience against crises.

What is the need for Professional Development in schools?

Sometimes, however, PD learning goals and their anticipated outcomes are set aside.  This happens when budgets are already stretched, trainers can’t be found, and staff are reluctant to participate. Our packaged THENCE Architect bundle brings quality content AND infrastructure to professional development so that school communities can be confident that PD and training is accomplished without hesitancy, delays, or the typical “check-the-box” boredom. Never before has such key content and learning architecture been available to schools at this price point.

What does the Architech platform include?

THENCE Architect includes four core areas of learning. These areas are  readiness for presenting social emotional learning/teaching, staff wellness and safety (including Title IX training or retraining),  diversity equity and inclusion training, and key interactive guides for improving school belonging.

How do my staff members train?

Architect content can be pushed to staff in either a cell-phone notification daily email notification. Custom notifications are possible in some regions. When clicked on participants get a 2-3 minutes interactive video. We call these our Real Reels, and they come loaded with interactive excercises that utalize cognitive science and gamified self-assessment. Each working day offers a micro-dosage (a single Real Reel) from one of our modules. This daily notification is sent to the school’s Architect-enrolled staff members as these participants have been identified as an “Architects” by the school following a enrolment process on the custom school Architect platform.  This is achieved with a high fidelity to privacy, optimal user design experience, and accessibility.  The Architect platform can be customized to give school administrators benchmarks of staff enrolment, and overall usage and satisfaction.

How does the learning start?

The learning modules are introduced with “teasers”,  much like an enjoyable movie trailer, so that staff participants know what to expect and get curious about the narratives and learning ahead. Our push notifications ensure that staff engage with the interactive media, complete assessments and keep up with their PD.

How does THENCE Architecture work?

Our justchalk2.us  ready-to-deploy platforms can be customized to suit a school’s aesthetic, school sub-domain and professional development needs. Our institutional school subscribers get a  password protected login and provide a list of selected “architects”.  These participants then receive a login and access to internal PD material, and  a daily schedule of Real Reels. These modules are seasonally appropriate and feature a timed release.

What are some of the additional services available through Architect?

Other services can be added as needed. These include additional advanced modules, custom modules, the tracking of learner progress, and the development of  specific, local content as well as access to live subject matter expertise, and live trainings, as well peer review services for school-generated training content.
